Understanding gives you enlightenment and the capacity to grasp and solve what others cannot.ĭan. It makes you shine and gives you an edge to stand tall separate from others. You enjoy mighty acts of God when you are filled with the spirit of wisdom. Excellence is doing it better than the way you do it yesterday. Samson lacked this spirit even though he had the spirit of the Lord. When you are in charge, you need wisdom so that you will not crash. Kings and prophets operate by this spirit to speak over a situation – they do not speak with timidity or fear but with boldness. 10: 6 – “ The Spirit of the LORD will come powerfully upon you, and you will prophesy with them and you will be changed into a different person. A spiritual man judges all things and situations, yet he is judge of no one. The spirit of the Lord gives you mastery over issues. This is true of David, Elijah, Samson, Gideon etc. In the OT, before the men of God would perform, we would read that the spirit of the Lord came upon them. It is the spirit that gives you dominion, boldness and keeps you in charge. The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him- the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord - and he will delight in the fear of the Lord. 11: 1-3 – “ A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse from his roots a Branch will bear fruit.
